HL7 (Health Level Seven)
HL7 is a standardized method of transferring synchronized data between healthcare systems. MDoffice’s compatibility with HL7 allows the user to use both MDoffice, and various other applications not produced by MDoffice, such as a separate medical records system. For example, patient registration may be performed on an EMR system and then automatically registered in MDoffice for practice management purposes. Conversely, the patient may be enrolled in MDoffice and then automatically updated to HL7 formats for registration in another EMR system.

Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft SQL Server is a scalable, high-performance database management system designed specifically for distributed based applications like MDoffice. Powerful, built-in data replication provides a reliable way for our clients to disseminate accurate information and improve its availability throughout the enterprise. In addition, the multi-threaded database design in Microsoft SQL Server delivers high performance on today's cost-effective, standard hardware. Also, Microsoft SQL server used with MDoffice protects database files against network failure and user error through a centralized storage management system.
