Short training curve.
MDoffice's training program is a proven
approach to the critical training required to successfully
implement practice management and medical record systems. MDoffice's
friendly graphical windows interface and short learning
curve make learning and using it a positive experience. New
users are up and running in days, not weeks or months.
We believe in going that extra mile to make sure our clients
are fully satisfied. Our "clients first" philosophy
translates into a quick and efficient support network
allowing for that productivity boosting edge in office
automation and helping physicians be successful. Our goal is
to make our customers successful and ensure that MDoffice is
as self-sustaining and easy to use as possible.
Our clients confirm that our initial training is as complete
as it is efficient. We know it's complete because we have a
comprehensive checklist that takes you from start to finish,
assuring that all steps are covered.
We're heading to what we call a virtual training environment
-- trying to eliminate a lot of paper and travel -- we're
trying to put more on people's desks and to make them more
productive in a shorter amount of time. Not only are instructor-led courses expensive, but the scheduling is
sometimes impossible to arrange. Our thorough training plan
enables new members of your staff to learn at their own
pace, using interactive multimedia, saving the training
expenses and time that other systems require.
Basic training.
MDoffice's basic training is full of
fundamental information to get new staff members started, as
well as tips and shortcuts to aid the experienced user. You
don't have to be a computer expert to participate either.
You can learn about computers and the MDoffice from the
beginning and see how easy using a computer in a medical
office can be.
If your staff has time during the day, they can start taking
a tutorial. If they get busy, they can bookmark the topic
and come back to it later when they have time. Complete
step-by-step documentation and extensive online help is
always available.
Students have the option of taking a course "from start to
finish" by selecting a topic and then "running the course"
until it is over. They can, however, "slice and dice" the
topics by selecting only those portions of material they
need to learn. For example, a staff member who already
understands the concept could go through a topic right on
the job, rather than interrupt a colleague or guess at the
right answer.
Once staff has learned the simple
functions of entering patient data, they begin to master
functions like booking appointments, adding procedure
charges, making patient and insurance payments and
generating the reports necessary to manage and market any
practice. They learn other computer-related concepts such as
the "what", "how", and "when" of doing the necessary backups
of the system and other preventative maintenance tasks.
Continuing education.
Because we believe that office automation
is a journey, not a destination, we provide additional
training through periodic training seminars both online and
at regional locations. These forums provide training on new
features and give the opportunity to exchange ideas with
other MDoffice software users.
Topics could include promoting a practice by using referral
sources and categories; financial decision making such as
reading balance sheets and management reports, and billing
procedures such as cycle billing and effective collection
techniques. Learn how financial data can be handled and how
to customize MDoffice for any practice.
Get new insight into claim and procedure charge entry,
electronic superbills, scheduling templates, electronic
payment reconciliation, exporting data, managing files,
preventing and recovering from errors and much more. Other
topics could include automatic payment applications from
EOBs, electronic insurance claim processing cycle and lots
of practice management techniques.
Experienced users are encouraged to treat these forums as
refresher courses to fully utilize the power of MDoffice .
Bring your questions to the seminar forum. All participants
can learn from experienced users who have their questions
answered. Usually, those questions demonstrate to other
users how to get the most out of their own system.
